Invitation to the Application to 2018 China Seismological Reference Model-Related NSF (General Program and Youths) Exchange Meeting

In order to promote the cooperation and communication among researchers who are going to apply for the China Seismological Reference Model-related NSF (General program and Youths) funds next year, the working group is planning to hold a fund application exchange meeting on January 6, 2018 at USTC. We would like to invite researchers who are going to apply for the China Seismological Reference Model-related grants in the coming year, project chairpersons of projects funded by the reference model in 2017, and members of the working group to attend the meeting.

In order to better prepare for this meeting, the working group now needs to compile a list of researchers who are interested in attending this meeting. If you are interested in attending this meeting, please contact Xiao Xiao (xiaox17@mail.ustc.edu.cn) by next Sunday (November 26th). Due to the protection of applicants’ funding ideas, participants are limited to researchers who are planning to apply for reference model-related general program and young grants next year, project leaders who received reference model funding this year, and members of the reference model working group. Researchers who are planning to apply for reference model-related grants next year are also requested to provide the following information and prepare a short presentation on the grant application.
The information should include: name, organization, email address, title of the proposed project, abstract, and curriculum vitae.

Projects related to the “China Seismological Reference Model” should be described in the application form:

This application is intended to be one of the projects to establish the “China Seismological Reference Model”. The research content of this application “…” is consistent with the “China Seismological Reference Model”. At the end of this project, we guarantee to provide the original seismic data and seismological models related to the grant research to the “China Seismological Reference Model” Product Center.
